At PTWorks, we treat the whole person. This means that we not only assist with mobility, we help our patients have as much day-to-day, practical independence as possible.
An Occupational Therapist provides in-depth evaluations and develops treatment plans to help patients participate in their leisure activities and to accomplish their activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, showering, toileting, and eating.
Our Occupational Therapists specialize in Hawaiʻi’s geriatric population. Their goal is to help patients restore their ADLs and maintain their independence for as long as possible. We routinely work with physicians, other health care professionals and individual caregivers so that our patients can achieve their highest functional levels.
Our licensed Occupational Therapists hold Master’s Degrees in Occupational Therapy from accredited Occupational Therapy programs and other required credentials (state licensure and certifications).
